First Baptist Church, West Point, Mississippi exists:
- To recognize and honor God as giver and keeper of life by surrendering to Him.
- To tell the good news of Christ at every opportunity and to share with others what Christ has done for us.
- To teach people the Bible and to guide them toward a commitment to Jesus.
